Langevann trails TurCraft

I began my Langevann hiking adventure at a parking lot that displays information about the area and tourist trails. The route is marked in an unusual but accurate blue color, ensuring that nobody should lose their way.

The road to Haugelandstrand is quite pleasant. First, it’s a dirt road, and then it’s a descent down a path.

I stumbled upon signs of civilization in the form of old buildings while walking down the road.
Furthermore, the old buildings along the road served as a reminder of the rich history of the area.

Langevann Haugelandstrand TurCraft

Haugelandstrand
is a great place to stay in the summer. It’s not a fancy five-star hotel, but if you like an active vacation away from the city, you might like it. There’s a dock where you can tie up a boat or jump in the water for a swim whenever you feel like it.

If you’re interested in staying in a summer cottage, you need to reserve and pay for your stay in advance. There are two lodgings with sun loungers. The first one accommodates 16 people (8 beds, 120 cm wide) and the second one accommodates 8 people (4 beds). You can find more information and make a reservation on this website: Haugelandstrand kystledhytte.

An alternative could be camping, but on the way there, I saw deer and other forest animals that might come and greet us at night since the area is not fenced.

The Dyreknuten route presents more challenges as it requires climbing several steep hills, although no actual rock climbing is necessary.

Additionally, the majority of the trail passes through a forest filled with flying insects that prevent you from stopping and resting even briefly.
Whenever I stopped to take a picture, a swarm of mosquitoes, flies, and little wasps immediately attacked me, interested in a new visitor.

Langevann platform TurCraft

Upon reaching the top of Dyreknuten, I beheld a breathtaking view of Norwegian nature, including a fjord stretching out before me. In the distance, I spotted a bridge and a small harbor with a platform on the water. As I reached the summit, my eyes were drawn to a ship passing under the bridge, flanked by two tugboats.
