Getting Started
My adventure began at the parking area for vehicles, which was a short distance away from the start of the hiking trail. After preparing my essentials, I set off on the gravel road ahead.
On the Trail
As I walked along the path, I came across a map of the area and some tourist information. Following the sign to the right, I reached the start of the trail, where my adventure began. Despite the rainy weather, I was eager to explore the beautiful surroundings and the scenic views of the mountains.
The Journey Continues
Along the trail, I encountered sheep that curiously followed my every step. As I continued further, I reached a place called Stavskar, where small summer cottages were located. It’s a great spot to rest and spend the night if you’re feeling tired or have started late. However, I didn’t want to waste any time and continued towards the steep mountain that lay ahead.
Reaching the Summit
The climb was steep, and in some places, there was still snow, which made the air chilly. Nevertheless, the stunning views were worth the effort. As I approached Bossbu, I could see sandy beaches and signs of civilization in the form of summer cottages.
Camping in the Wilderness
I had brought my tent with me, so I found a good spot to set it up near the cottages on the other side of the stream. To reach the other side, I had to jump from one rock to another in the water, but it was an adventure in itself. When I reached the other side, I realized that there was a new bridge that I could have used, but I missed it due to the rugged terrain.
